Message From The Manager

I would like to give my heart felt thanks to the small group of players who took part this season.
I find it hard to appreciate why people register for a club then do not show up or just fade away. We had
40+ players on our roster and at any time apart from the Cambridge game we only dressed 20 odd. I don't know
what to call you guy's 300 or band of brothers you can certainly use all of them, to big Ash we will miss
you and I am sorry I did not get to see you more after the final game fella you've been mint.
To Stevie Jigs cheers for playing every where and any where, to Ollie, Chris,Jon and all the others like
Micky M thanks for hanging in there. To my back bone lads on the O line who kick me up the behind when I
need it enough said you know what I mean.
To Chris the shoulder and Keiron G thanks for turning out injured all year, to Dave and Duncan you did a
hell of a job with limited numbers and Karlos a freind to every one and the giver of good advice.
This all makes a team not a bunch of medal hunters but guy's who play for each other, to the people who
left in search of glory Tuff you lucked out you should have stayed with a real team. Forget the play off's
they're a nice add on the true meaning of a team game is to stand with your fellow players who you might
not see eye to eye with but would not let any one run over either.
If I missed your name I'm sorry but I know who you have all been and what you did this year, one last
thing on players Widget welcome now to Sparta you arrived this year not just as a player but in many aspects.
Many thanks for letting me have the pleasure of managing you all.
Regards
Tony Palmer
