The Essex Spartans continued their away form by beating the Lincolnshire Bombers for their sixth win of the season. After a slow start to the game, the Spartans finished the first half leading 7-0. The second half saw a different team take to the field as scores from S.Hull(2), D.Wallace(2), A.Minto, A.Beaton and J.Tottman gave the Spartans a 47-6 win with Lincolnshire getting a late consolation score.

The Spartans will now travel to Bedford on the 8th August to face the Blue Raiders in their last league game of the season. The winner of this game could clinch second place and continue their summer season with a run into the playoffs.
