This Sunday the Spartans are on the road again, this time travelling to Peterborough for an inter-conference battle with the Peterborough Saxons.

The Saxons will be in mean mood after losing last week to their conference leaders, the Cambridgeshire Cats, taking their record for the season to 3-2-0.

The Spartans have improved week on week, and several important milestones have been reached - becoming meaner on defense, scoring points on offense from open play, then last week leading a game for the first time. The next step is to win a game - will it be this week?

The 2 teams last met in 2005 where the Spartans were victorious, however both teams have changed significantly in the last few years so any result is possible.

Spartans should get to the Saxons home field (map and directions) for a 12 noon start.
